In this article we are going to inform about the Polar FIS+ Advanced 2015 (PF03) - Interface to display and configure the vehicle's parameters, at the same time we'll talk about the RNS 510 touchscreen Volskwagen original radio/navigation system. These to components were installed on a Volkswagen Golf V R32 (1K) vehicle.   

The installation of these two devices was maded in our specialized workshop!

The Polar FIS+ Advanced 2015 (PF03) it's the evolution of the Polar FIS+, incorporates new parameters and new functions. Polar FIS+ allows the display of parameters at the FIS dashboard's screen, but Polar FIS Advanced, incorporates more parameters, new functions included: like the possibility of modify the blink numbers of the confort blinking light, the automatic co-pilot rearview mirror down function when rear gear is engaged and some activation functions of the vehicle's functions that only could be performed by a diagnostic wire.

This device allows the display and the configuration of vehicle's parameters at the dashboard's FIS screen, data parameters are directly read from the ECU (Engine Control Unit)

• Automatic units detection of Temperature (°C, °F), Speed (kmh/mph) and Measures (Liters/Galons), choosed on FIS screen.

• Manual selection of the units that you wish to see at the parameters relative to the pressures. Available units, mbar, bar, PSI.

• Customizable keys for Steering wheel/wiper lever. Vehicle´s parameters display relative to temperatures, pressures, levels, injection, real speed, engine load, torque, etc...

• Multiple available functions: Comfort light, mirror down function, available diagnostic functions: rain sensors and lights sensors, activation/deactivation lights function, automatic closing, blinkers, etc...

• TV Free function to display videos at the radio/navigation screen while car is moving.

The Polar FIS+ Advanced 2015 (PF03) inteface it's compatible with OEM and FISCON handsfree kits, unlike other products, POLAR FIS+ Advanced don't use the "PHONE" menu from the FIS, otherwise it creates a new menu named as Polar FIS+ Advanced.
