Audi Hold Assist / Hill Start Assist retrofit kit for Audi A4 (8K), A5 (8T), Q5 (8R)

Complete Audi Hold Assis / Hill Start Assist genuine retrofit kit. 

• Audi Hold Assist system mantains vehicle stopped and static automatically once you activate it (on a hill) and stop moving. It won't be necessary to activate the hand break so it makes much more easier to start driving again, going ahead on the hill.
• It gets activated just by pressing one button and allows the driver to start moving again without needing to even use the hand break. If vehicle remains stopped for a long period, system will automatically switch its holding status to the electromechanic hand break. In that case, it won't be necessary to desactivate the hand break to go on moving again.
• Audi Hold Assist belongs to the vehicle's ABS-ESP system. Once break pedal is released, the hydaulic pressure is mantained, what means that hydraulic system mantains pressed/active the vehicle's break pads on front and rear wheels. During this process the electronic hand break won't be active.
• Product advantatges are the follwoing: Less reaction time, less noise and less break effect on the 4 wheels, what is traduced on a better confort.
• The Audi Hold Assist is only available in combination with the electronic hand break.

Only suitable for vehicles that include the following specs from factory:

• Left hand drive vehicles (PR: L0L).
• Vehicles that include from factory tyre pressure control system (PR: 7K1 o 7K6).

• In order to be able to confirm the product's compatibility with vehicles without the RDK tyre pressure control unit, it will be imprescindible to check the compatibility with the ABS control unit.
